Living in Cebu, Philippines gives me many pictorial opportunities through just normal day life.  The challenge is to see them.  When you see the same things every day, it gets hard to see something new and worthy of a picture. Now I always see plenty of Filipina worthy of having their picture taken.  Guys usually love to have their pictures taken, perhaps I should take more pictures of guys.  I’ll make a point to do that.  Filipina, often are a little harder, they often hide when I try.  Sometimes pleading works though. Here is the perfect example.  I took a picture of the pretty Filipina that was in this tricycle and she didn’t notice.  However, the friendly driver did notice and wanted me to take his picture and I was happy to do so.  I saw the opportunity for a good picture.   His face would be great for black and white photography, if I knew what I was doing. :)   When I took his picture the girl turned her back on me.  When she thought I was done,  I tried to tell her I already had her picture. Friendly Pinoy I think I got the message across to her when I pointed at her, then the lens on my camera with a very big smile on my face.  :)   Pretty Filipina hiding from me is just not allowed. Pretty Filipina The jewel of the orient is truly the Filipina.  It looks like I’ll be spending a few days in Bangkok, Thailand within the next three months.   Nothing set yet.  I’m sure I’ll find something to take pictures of while I’m there as well. I found this dainty flower along our walk one day.  Its not your average flower, perhaps its not a flower at all but  I think it is.

I think I’ll close this post out with one of my favorite pictures of Jessie.   We had another brown out so off to Jollibee’s we went.  Luckily it didn’t last long and I didn’t eat more than I should have.  Not that french fries are ever a good choice but fast food french fries in the Philippines are still quite good.  I really like this picture of her.

Jessie In Bogo CityFinally the gallery for a few of our walks in Bogo City.  I got a kick out of the “No Entry” sign that was lined with back to back tricycles and motor bikes.  There was a rooster fight at one of the homes on that street and it was packed with people.  That’s what all the bikes are parked there for.  There was a barangay festival going on.   A good Filipino knows there is no such thing as a bad excuse to party.
