Hello USA, nice name. You may have traveled the world but you haven’t looked very deeply. People are the same in many ways but in other ways they are vastly different. If you don’t know that the culture of the Philippines is significantly different than that of the USA, I don’t know man, I just don’t know how anyone that has been here three weeks could not see the vast differences in the people here and back in the USA.
What makes you think Jessie wants to go school? She is waray-waray and now lives in a Visayan speaking province. When I talked to her about going to school this was a major concern for her and I thought it valid. Personally, I wanted to see her in one of those cute school girl outfits. And she does not want to live in the USA.

yeah rusty,,he deserved the boot. Living here myself I also have seen both sides of the coin. The people here are definitely different. I understood his saying about people are the same,and i have said it myself. The best way to sum it up is we are the same but different…..but hey,,that applies in the states also. What does irk me is when people comment like all asian women are prostitutes,,i run into it occasionally and I tell them its really offensive to me.
My wife has never been a prostitute and many of my filipina friends have never even been remotely a prostitute.
