My First Year Living In The Philippines

Reflections and Evolution in Opinion

I’ve been in the Philippines for a few days more than a year. I’ve learned a lot but still have much to learn. It is pretty amazing how differently people from different parts of the world think. Thinking of all the variations in humans from around the world, makes me a little surprised some haven’t tried to s ay we are different species. The storms here appear to be milder than what we get in the US. Some of the homes that I’ve seen look like the big bad wolf could blow them away. But they

Typhoon Nuri

Thought I’d let folks know that Typhoon Nuri is having no effect on the Island of Cebu. I haven’t been out yet today but yesterday it was unusually calm at the bay. I’ll be going down to the seaside cafe area tonight. But there has been no lighting at all and no rain. The skies have been partly cloudy, lots of clouds but a lot of sun shine too.
